Do you offer engine compression checks?
We do not currently offer engine compression checks due to liability issues pertaining to removing parts from the vehicle. We do however offer services that may be able to provide you with results that are close to compression checks. Our Computerized Scan test is able to check for engine cylinder misfire which can be caused by low cylinder compression. We will not be able to confirm an exact compression reading. With today's advances in engine design cylinder compression checks are becoming a diagnostic tool that is really only used when an engine has severe drivability issues and this may be determined just by listening and feeling the engine.
